I do like Dark Shadows, well pleased these clips fit good, serendipity. Music my psycho Goth band winter 83/84, bit sh*t, but people say that about Dark Shadows too.

Oh GOD, why have I never heard this before. Fucking amazing. It really is every metal, pshychedelic, ESPECIALLY every goth band you've ever heard rolled into one. Crazy shit, it never ends. Imagine hearing that in a club, I'd be rolling around the floor, LIKE WE ALL SHOULD BE.
We should be! Phenomenal isn't it. When you know you know brother. You've not heard it before as they never made it. A lot of great bands never did and a lot of great music never got heard. Best band in Leeds circa 87-90 imo, for sure. I've a few other gems of there's I'll have to upload. Bassist Ron Tree went on to play with Hawklords and Hawkwind. Glad you dig it.
Another occasion when Jaz through his toys out of the pram.
My brothers and I loved The Water Margin !!! 💯👍
The bassist really f*cked that up. At least he's phenomenally sexy 😉😆
Man put a needle to near his eye because he was afraid of it. :-O But yeah the [art at the end is good where he talks about being in a bad environment could be good for a horror writer. I think it would be good for any artist, honestly.
Comics one day will be BIG Industry again.
They still are. Manga is huge. Manhua is becoming huge. Bande Dessine is still huge. Mainstream graphic novels of the type considered 'alternative' in the tradtional 'mainstream' American market are huge on 'real' book outlets like Amazon and physical stores. It's only the UK comics industry and the fore-mentioned 'mainstream' American industry (ie Marvel / DC and all those companies that rely on the ghetto of Diamond distribution and comics shops) that turned to crud. They were run into the ground by incredibly imbecilic and incompetent people.
Hey you're I still can't find movie on here like seven bowl of the dragon movie please hope out John Faulkner
"Where's Jas"
when they did top of the pops they had someone or a dummy dressed in a beekeepers outfit
@gi neve fishfinger shortage that year if im not mistaken
He fucked off to Iceland fearing the end of the world. He missed the TOTP show too. Big Paul stepped up to do Empire song.
This series was unmissable in its day.
The greatest actor in my life his legend and his soul are still living inside me
Saw it in 81 i think it was , a double bill with quadraphenia . Great times , oh to be young again.
I went with some older lads on the bus from a small town nr Doncaster to see it in 1980, alas, never got in. Had to wait for the video, '82.
When was this recorded? Is this when Mark & Paul were in the band?
A bit after Lisa. They're both on this one though ua-cam.com/video/TkQB8RuOOKE/v-deo.html
@@tveye - any way I can message you directly?
I put my email on my About page.
"Good conversationalist" You were a bit more than that David.
"Jaz, beware of the bee !"
Wow....'Top Of The Pops' is pretty badass now. lol
🚜 Dutz's wed 🚜
One of the best scenes; I, am Lin Chung ! someone upload the complete series. peace and love
MacManus confirms that's him, long term IPC art editor and 2000ad logo designer Doug Church, and (at a guess) the back of sub-editor Simon Geller's head. Thanks so much for posting this rare treasure.
Nice one Gort, thanks, I'll add that to blurb. There is a bit more of the article, not 2000AD, just about Barbie comic launch and The Hit (teen) mag, with more from the industry bod, but real tape issues transferring it. So thankfully, the best bit here, saved okay. Will try it again sometime though. Cheers.
I like the distortion! Thanks so much for sharing, @@tveye
@@GortHyman Pleased I could Gort. A great period (Steve's), which I'm re-reading through at the moment.
I would probably jizz in my pants if I was at a live KJ concert
Got any more fella, all my demo tapes died years ago ?
I do, just a few. PM me.

Seems Jaz was a right cunt to these guys in the guise of spiritual awakening. Oh well, Pisces people aren't known for their loyalty.
The bass player paul raven looks like his got a spider on his head
Just months before Raven joined Amanda, that's Youth with the dreads, which he Super Glue-ed apparently.
It's actually Youth on bass, but you're right about the spider - sort of a spider that's been electrocuted
What the fuck is going on with Geordie's guitar? He's playing a Gibson SG but is world renowned for playing his trademark white Gretsch? Someone please explain!
itscrowtime He is famous for using a Gibson 295 goldtop, this is before he got that when he used a les Paul deluxe and an sg junior
i'm dead ,shoutout to my dad on the bass XD
Cool, hope he's well.
Yeah, survived the Time War and Other Inter Stella Conflicts, now floating in the Outer Rim but the sounds are slowly bringing me home to Planet X.
Totally missed this reply man, K pointed it out to me. Good to hear from ya. How ya diddlin'?
@@tveye Cool Pete, miss the band and the music, still believe, cutting edge....bench mark for others to follow, and we set the bench mark high dude...

Thanks for taking the time to upload and share. Mysterious man in the mask? It's not Jaz.
Thanks man. It sure isn't.
That is cool , dear friend !

Is that Jaz in the space suit?
Nah man, this is when he'd fled to Iceland. Space suit is a stand in.
Thought so, thanks. I remembered Jaz went awol around that time.
still one of my favourites

This is really jarring, but it has a fascination for me. Probably because it's "brilliantly unique".
Brill song, brill band!
yeah.
i have the entire series on dvd - available on amazon - they dont makem like this anymore ....
Technically Brilliant how much
dont know what you paid but it seems a little pricey to me. Like they don't get the economics of scale and selling loads is better than selling a few for a lot.
Upload it ! We must have the whole series or we'll die, incomplete ! peace
Very cool edit and songs, great 80' music. rococo
Looks great to me!
Very nice..... T/U.... regards..... rococo
+rococo ACHUP Aww thank you very much. Glad you like it. Bit of fun.
A brilliantly unique appearance, thanks for posting.
Wonderful film ..
Wow awesome I remember watching this. Couldn't work out at the time why Jaz wasn't there and then it came out he had gone to Iceland. Strange seeing Youth with all that hair ;o)
